This client came into Peter Mark with a familiar brief: poker-straight hair that drops a curl within the hour and never holds the volume she's after. It's exactly the case tape was made for. Twenty-four pairs were fitted to build length and body, and a glossy brunette was blended from two shades, 1B and C1, for a finish that holds a wave for days and stays put as long as she chooses to wear it.

The fix here is in the hair itself. Where fine, straight natural hair won't grip a style, our tape hair holds a curl and keeps it; it never tangles, dries out or thins through the ends, so the volume and movement she walked out with are the volume and movement she keeps between washes. That's the difference good tape makes: not just length on the day, but a style that behaves all week.
Each tape is hand-made on a thin polyurethane membrane, with individual hairs injected in, to mimic the look of the client's own root, so rather than a visible band of tape, the hair appears to grow straight from the scalp. On a deep, single-tone brunette, where there's no balayage to distract the eye, that invisible seam is what keeps the fit truly undetectable. The rounded edges sit comfortably with no traction at the corners, and removals lift cleanly with no sticky residue at the root.
Tape is semi-permanent, refitted every 6–8 weeks, with the same hair carried through fitting after fitting. The polyurethane membrane is soft to the touch but holds up to extended wear without breaking down, and the hair is 100% cuticle-correct, cold-water processed, so the cuticle is never disrupted, which is what lets it keep its condition and shine for the full life of the set.

This glossy finish comes down to the match, both deep brunettes built multi-tonal rather than flat, sitting true against a natural dark base:
Sierra - 1B: a deep, true brunette that keeps the overall tone clean and grounded against the client's base.
Brunette - C1: a rich, warm brunette that brings the glossy, lit-from-within depth through the lengths.

Tape carries far beyond a single brunette, too, from rich reds through to high-lift blonde, the method stays constant while the blend does the talking:
Marz Cielen, 30 + 33, Tapes: a warm, dimensional copper-red with depth through the lengths.
Peter Mark, C16 + C19, Tapes: a soft, multi-tonal blonde with a lived-in, rooted finish.
Edwards and Co, C16, Tapes: a bright, natural blonde balayage in a single hero shade.
